This is the most beautiful book I’ve probably ever seen. The illustrations are gorgeous— not only is it artistically and visually amazing, but the words that accompany the pictures talk up to readers of any age.
Luca and Alessandro… new brothers unite in comfortable solidarity. There are no words to describe my joy at seeing my 2 boys together for the first time. As an only child I am finally a part of that larger family unit. Luca asked me, “are were a family now”? What a thought… but I understood him because as an only child, that is how I always felt. I said, “we were a family before, but now we are just a bigger one”.
